Body, Lifestyle, Scent Zen Zest Perfumes Review July 13, 2018 There are a lot of “inspired scents” brands in the Philippines but some of us want something out of the ordinary. If you’re looking for authentic eau de parfums in the Philippines, this Zen Zest perfumes review may just be the one to help you. Zen Zest EDPs What I love about Zen Zest is they didn’t become popular by imitating international perfumeries. They have been thriving for years and the first time that I saw one of their kiosks was when I was 14 years old and that was back in 2004. Their “Mulberry” variant was the most popular at that time. Zen Zest perfumes are pricier than other popular perfumeries in the Philippines but their products are worth every penny. My Experience Zen Zest sent me a generous gift bag after they saw my Nenuco and Denenes dupe article. I recommended their baby cologne in that article because it has an authentic EDT quality. They didn’t force me to write a review about what they sent me. I’m just writing this article because I’ve been a fan of the brand for years. Here in Filipinow, all of my posts aren’t sponsored. Brands send me stuff to collaborate with them but I’m not getting paid yet. When I really like something, I will go out of my way to share it with my readers. Yes, you! Everything I’m doing is for you, and for money… but I’m not getting that yet so right now, it’s all for YOU. I hope you’re still comfortable after I confessed my feelings lol. Anyway, enough rambling Amanda! I don’t know how many EDPs they have in total but they sent me 2 and one of which is something that I’ve tried around 5 years ago. Zen Zest Earth Let’s start with something that I’m more familiar with. I tried this variant way back in 2013 when I was working as an agent for a real estate company. I needed a good perfume that didn’t cost too much hence, I ended up trying it. The Zen Zest Elements Earth perfume contains orange, lavender, pear, and jasmine. Initially sprayed, it smells like alcohol but then it tones down to an energizing citrus scent with hints of floral tones that make it very feminine. It’s a perfect everyday scent for work or various on-the-go activities. Longevity is around 5-6 hours with an ample amount of sillage. I recommend this as a day time perfume. Zen Zest Fire Although I’m drawn to citrusy scents more, I really like the Zen Zest Elements Fire variant. It has a very powerful powdery first whiff which instantaneously tones down to a warm floral delight. The “Fire” perfume contain iris, Bulgarian rose, pink grapefruit, and powder. I’m really proud of myself because before I researched what the perfumes contain, I was already able to figure out some of the ingredients just by sniffing the perfumes. Watch out guard dogs, Amanda is coming for your careers! This variant is definitely a date night scent and we all know that powdery perfumes have better longevity. You’ll be sure to smell sexy all night long *wink wink*. Verdict Both Zen Zest perfumes are of authentic eau de parfum quality. It’s very rare to see authentic perfumes from popular brands in the Philippines and this is why I love this company. If you want a signature scent and hate being mainstream, try their EDPs out. Packaging of the Zen Zest perfumes look very clean and the bottles are sleek making them easy to travel with. I highly recommend for you to try them out on your next trip to the mall.
