I can’t even contain myself from writing this as my heart’s beating at 100kmph. I’ve talked about how Prescripto is one of my favorite inspired scents brands and I’m not sure if it’s still available. I’m so happy that here I am, on an uneventful Monday afternoon, writing a Prescripto perfume review!
Dreams do come true lol. Stop being so extra Amanda!
My mom and I were shopping when I randomly saw a kiosk of Prescripto perfumes in Shoe Center, Greenhills while waiting for her to pick a pair of sandals.
The very first time I’ve tried a Prescripto perfume was when I was living in Tivoli Gardens way back in 2013. SM Megamall was pretty close to the condo and my roommate and I used to go there a lot.
I don’t live too far from SM Megamall. However, I’m a homebody and I’ll only go out if I really need to buy groceries or get my hair done lol.
Though SM Megamall is only 15 minutes (45 with traffic) from where I currently live, it’s still somewhere I can’t drive alone to yet and the very reason why I only go to SM City East Ortigas nowadays.
Enough rambling and get to it!
Prescripto Perfume Review by Amanda of Filipinow
The packaging is a bit different and quite appealing but I prefer the old square one over the new cylindrical bottle.
Perfume is still in a glass bottle and the label is etched and not just slapped on through a sticker which gives it a premium feel.
Nozzle is easy to work with and I have nothing bad to say about the overall product aesthetics.
Moving on to the more important factor of this Prescripto perfume review, the performance.
I am not sure how close the variant I got in terms of the real scent (I got GREEN M) is but I assure you that their Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue one is spot on.
I’m drawn to the Prescripto GREEN M variant because it delivers a very fresh green tea smell. Perfect as a day-time perfume.
Alcohol whiff is to be expected on the initial spritz but it tones down to an energizing yet lovely and delicate scent.
I can imagine a 26yo med student who just got her first apartment wearing this variant.
Amoy edukada, may pedigree, social graces, at mataas na pangarap sa buhay.
Although it only claims to only be EDT, I find that the scent lingers for more than 6 hours. Sillage is ample and you’ll get complimented from wearing it (or not if the bitch hates green tea).
Prescripto Perfume Review Final Words
The only con is the availability. Retails at only 220 PHP for 60ml, a bona fide STEAL!
If your pet peeve is bad smell, share this Prescripto perfume review to your frenemies. Don’t forget my other perfume-related articles if you’re so inclined.
