Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon Review 2018

I’ve discovered something for the on-the-go woman who doesn’t want to compromise her brows. This is truly one of my proudest moments. Without further ado, let’s head on to this Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon review.

Please know that this post isn’t sponsored in any way by Maybelline. Currently, Maybelline has never sponsored anything so you’re assured of the authenticity of this review.

Enough rambling and get to it Amanda!

Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon Review by Amanda of Filipinow

I only have 1 shade from the Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon line. Dark Brown is what we’re going to talk about today so you may not enjoy this as much as a brunette woman would.

The packaging is pretty straight-forward with no frills. Plastic cap is a bit flimsy and that’s probably the only thing that gets a NO from me.

Brow pencil is twistable like a lipstick bullet and the shape of the crayon is perfect for a precise application.

My only issue is that since the mouth of the pencil is wide, the product will lose the pointy edge after some time turning the applicator into a fat useless mess that will require a brush and make it lose its on-the-go edge amongst others.

Let’s move on to the most important part of the Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon Review.

My Experience

Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon in Dark Brown

The dark brown shade is something that I really like as it’s more on the ashy tone rather than reddish.

I don’t find red brows appealing because they make the whole look hard.

We want to stay soft, delicate, feminine, and fragile… or NOT. I don’t know with you lol.

Scent of the crayon offers a very minuscule metal whiff which isn’t so bad.

Pigment is buildable and I love how the colors don’t deposit all at once giving you the option to look tame or harsh.

Not creamy or watery, just in the middle like what a brow pencil delivers.

You’ll easily be able to come up with decent brows in less than a minute just by drawing with the crayon alone.

If you want to have an on-fleek look, you’re very welcome to do so by utilizing an eyebrow brush.

Boasts an astounding amount of shelf-life at 24 months after first use.

Retails at only $9.99, it’s a STEAL.

Below is a photo of my brow after applying the crayon in less than a minute.

I’m not totally sure if this is still available in the Philippines. It’s not in the list of the official Maybelline Lazada store which is a bit of a bummer.

Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon Review Final Words

If you’re a makeup newbie, you’re definitely going to love it. However, if you need something more, I don’t think it’s for you because the crayon is not creamy enough for the pigment to be easily transferred to a brush.
