Bare Body Essentials Lip and Cheek Tint Review 2018
October 15, 2018
Just another Manic Monday! I’m in a bit of a rush because I have an appointment with the dermatologist after lunch. Please bear with the upcoming mistakes in this Bare Body Essentials Lip and Cheek Tint review. (applause for the pun please)
This is in no way sponsored but I got the goodies for free. Bare Body Essentials graciously sponsored my first Filipinow Care Package Giveaway and together with their sponsorship was 4 shades of generosity.
Bare Body Essentials Lip and Cheek Tint Review by Amanda of Filipinow
The Bare Body Essentials Lip and Cheek Tint line comes in 4 shades; BB-01, BB-02, BB-03, and BB-04.
Albeit the selection isn’t as plentiful as others’, all of the colors are VERY WEARABLE.
BB-01 really surprised me because it’s the first tint I’ve encountered that’s a true shade of pink.
My only issue is that since it’s light, the color payoff is not as rich as the other 3. You’ll find yourself exerting more effort but the end result is AMAZING.
Since I have a dark upper lip, the BB-01 was not able to address it as much as it did with the lower portion.
A prototype color which is perfect for all skin tones. Red with a warmer hue and is truly versatile. If you want your lips to look natural, don’t be heavy-handed.
However, it can be utilized for a stunning red lip as well.
Bored with red and pinks? You’re going to love this edgy maroon color. Personally, I don’t know how to pull off maroon but if you’re THAT girl, you’re going to enjoy this.
There’s one look that I think will go perfectly with this shade and it involves a beret.
Probably my least favorite as a lip color. However, if you have a gorgeous tan, the orangey tint can seamlessly blend on your face.
Let’s move on to the most important part of this Bare Body Essentials Lip and Cheek Tint review…
Like any other lip and cheek tint product, consistency is watery.
Drying but not to the point that you’ll get cracks just like you would from a matte lipstick.
Scent is appealing with a whiff of grapes.
Bottle is made of sturdy plastic or glass. I’m not entirely sure to be honest but definitely not flimsy lol.
Roller ball applicator is not faulty and easy to work with.
I also love how the ingredients list was cited but I’m not a fan of the fonts used.
Sticker label is of good quality and the letters don’t smear off.
Longevity without eating or drinking would be a good 6~ hours.
Transfer-proof once dried but I’m not sure if it’s kiss-proof because I’m a fat, single, and lonely bitch.
