DermAid Tawas Review

Tawas sounds archaic but it’s something gentle enough to not further the darkening of your armpits. If you’ve noticed from your older relatives, dark underarms aren’t much of a dilemma for them because most of them used tawas instead of deodorant in their teens. Learn more if this DermAid Tawas review can help lighten your kili-kili.

Milcu is my favorite deodorant because it’s mild yet not messy like the conventional ground and grainy tawas. It’s also not as hard to work with as a tawas na bato which can also clog the sink.

I like tawas but it takes too much work so I was finally happy to see tawas in a bottle when I was randomly looking for things to buy in Watsons.

DermAid Tawas Review by Amanda of Filipinow

Product is contained in a sturdy plastic cylindrical bottle.

Fonts, art, and just everything about the product are all appealing.

I have nothing bad to say about the packaging to be honest.

I’m not entirely sure if I got it for 60 or 80 PHP but it’s definitely less than a hundred.

Let’s head on to the most important part of this DermAid Tawas review…

My Experience

Dermaid Tawas Photo

Dispensing the tawas is very easy. It’s just like using baby powder.

Functionality and everything trivial are quite alright except for the fact that when I saw the product in broad daylight while taking photos of it, the shadow of the product from the bottle peeked through and there’s already less than half of tawas remaining even before me using it.

Rip-off, I know!

It’s also quite gimmicky because it’s exactly the same as tawas powders you can buy from sachets. No additional scent, formulation, and etc.

I like the effects of pulverized tawas but I can’t handle the fallouts especially as they make a huge itchy mess on the bed and on the bedroom floor.

I know how it’s advised to be used on a damp area of the skin but after some time, for some reason, the tawas grains come back to life lol.

DermAid Tawas Review Final Words

Clearly. I didn’t have an enjoyable time trying it.

However, it does get rid of sweat and odor for more than 12 hours. It’s also gentle enough to not further darken your pits.

I’m not here to ruin the reputation of DermAid because I have nothing to gain.

Please take this review with a grain of salt and try it out for yourself. It’s just less than 100 PHP and you might have a different experience from mine.
