Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter Review

I know that it’s a little too late to make a Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter review. However, you know my reviews are always honest plus this isn’t a sponsored post so you may want to keep reading.

It’s amazing how I just manipulated you to stay with me. *wink*

Lip balms are probably the products that I easily switch from time to time. Vaseline, Apollo, EOS, Nivea, Maybelline, Burt’s Bees, Clivia Pure Organics, Lucas Papaw, and etc., name it, I’ve tried it.

There’s something about my lips that I really don’t care about. Hence, my treatment of it as a guinea pig (not that I support animal testing so please don’t misunderstand my expression).

Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter Review

As I’ve said in my previous IG stories, I’ll be trying out a lot of lip balms. Reason being is I’m currently under isotretinoin medication. It literally depletes the moisture that my body produces.

What urged me to try the Vaseline lip therapy balm was the constant advertisement of it in other blogs lol.

Added to that, I’ve always been a fan of Vaseline and all its functionalities *wink wink*.

Less being frisky and more talking about the product sil vous plait Amanda?

My Experience

The jar is too small for something that’s around 150 PHP. Only 7g of product what you’ll get so I advise to not reach for the stars when it comes to bang for buck.

That’s a little presumptuous Amanda, it’s a little more expensive than other brands but maybe it’s of paramount quality!

Shut up Lindsay, I’m not done yet. Anyway, before my annoying assistant interrupted me… this lip therapy balm is just gimmicky.

Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter

Sure, it’s fun to see flavored Vaseline petroleum jellies with a huge variety but 150 PHP for only 7g? You’re better off buying the ones with no flavors because the efficacy is the same.

Packaging is literally a mini petroleum jelly; nothing outstanding.

The Cocoa Butter variant applies thickly, in a good way. Definitely perfect for very dry and chapped lips which are worsened by cold and drying climates.

Although the scent is of delicious chocolate, taste is of petroleum jelly. I did it for you already Wanda, you don’t have to eat it anymore.

Longevity is about 3-5 hours depending on what you do on your day. It won’t be able to endure drinking, kissing, and fellatio though.

Nope… this ain’t for you Slutty Sally!

Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter Review Final Words

Is it a good product? For a lip balm, it is.

But you have to remember that there are a lot of lip balms available in the market that are cheaper and give more value for money.

These lip therapies are nothing but genius gimmicky stunts. You’re better off licking your lips or making out with a bar of butter from your fridge.
