L.A. Colors Lip Duo Eternal Flame Review

It’s been a while since the last time I wrote a makeup review. The novelty is settling back in. However, I’m not able to create swatches because I currently have a fever and colds and I’m barely functioning as I’m writing this L.A. Colors Lip Duo Eternal Flame Review.

Before I pass out, let it be known that this review is in no way sponsored. I got the product from my aunt in the U.S.

Without further ramblings, pucker up ladies.

Packaging is a bit generic and looks like most duo lippies that are available in the drugstore. I don’t hate nor love it. My only issue is that the product doesn’t go all the way down when you twist the lipstick bullet part which irks me because I’m a clumsy girl and I’m certain that I’ll break the lipstick in less than 10 uses.

However, I really like the lip gloss part because the glass is sturdy and the applicator is a doe-foot wand which delivers ease of application.

Less trivial things and more of the important stuff of this L.A. Colors Lip Duo Eternal Flame Review…

My Experience

L.A. Colors Lip Duo Eternal Flame Inside

The scent is strongly of vanilla which is very pleasant.

Lipstick is not too creamy which makes it less tacky. However, if you have very dry lips like I do, you will benefit better from more buttery lipsticks.

Lip gloss it comes with gives a subtle sheen which helps create a more natural finish.

I love the look of both products on my lips but they are very drying so you will need to top your whole look with a moisturizing lip balm.

Both products aren’t kiss-proof and only lasts for about 2-3 hours.

Since I don’t have swatches and photos of me wearing the product, I will just describe the color the best way I can.

Even though the name “Eternal Flame” gives an impression of a fiery red color, both lippies begin with a cool pink tint when initially applied. If you want to see the color from the packaging mirrored on your lips, you will need to build the products up.

I am not sure of how much it retails for but I’m certain that it’s affordable.

L.A. Colors Lip Duo Eternal Flame Review Final Words

Lipstick is underwhelming as it gets smudged easily but I really like the gloss.

I’m not saying it’s a totally crappy product but I’ve tried better ones.
