I don’t know if it’s appropriate to greet you with a TGIF as it’s Good Friday today and Jesus is dead. However, I’m pretty sure that nothing can get more annoying than your oil-based moisturizer sliding on your sweat under the tropical heat. Today, let me help you address that with this Celeteque Facial Moisturizer Review.
I’ve been a fan of the brand Celeteque and I’m getting so close to not being one anymore as they’ve never sent me anything yet. Just kidding lol!
I’m not an entitled Blogger, I barely post sponsored ads so if you still don’t get my humor, look elsewhere. Go for the well-curated ones who claim to try 10 different products in just one week.
I’ve already featured this product in my Skin Care Trinity. You can read that if you feel like getting to know the top 3 products that I can’t live without.
I know that this may seem like a throwback to a skin care junkie like me. However, it’s very hard to find a gel-based moisturizer with a friendly price point and is easily available everywhere in the Philippines and those are the reasons as to why I’ve decided to make a dedicated post about this product.
I was introduced to this brand like 15 years ago as it was often featured in the lifestyle show in Studio 23 called “Us Girls”.
The network and show don’t exist anymore so don’t bother.
What I love about it is since I now know that I’m acne-prone, Celeteque Facial Moisturizer, being gel-based, is easier on my skin condition.
My dermatologist told me to avoid oils at all costs.
Furthermore, gel-based products work really well if you live in a humid and tropical country like the Philippines.
Let’s head on to less trivial stuff about this Celeteque Facial Moisturizer Review.
Just like most gel-based products, it gives a cooling effect especially if stored in a dry and cool place.
Scent is neutral and appealing.
Tackiness only lasts less than a minute as it’s easily absorbed by the skin.
I find that it addresses flaking especially on the sides of my nose.
Irritation didn’t occur in my case as it’s hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and fragrance-free.
However, the longevity of its hydration effects is lesser than that of a cream-based product.
Worry not because its price is friendly and even if you find yourself constantly reapplying it (every 3 hours), it won’t hurt your wallet.
Retails at only 250 PHP for 100ml, a classic steal!
I don’t recommend this for daytime use as it doesn’t contain SPF. I think Celeteque has a sunblock variant but I’m still not sure. They’ve yet to send their arsenal of goodies for me to find out.
