A’Bloom Review 2019
I just came back from a holiday in Boracay. Furthermore, this A’Bloom review was made possible because I’ve used some of the products that Althea Korea sent me to try on my trip.
My familiarity with A’Bloom was non-existent until I was sent the goodies.
Currently, I am very vigilant with what I use in terms of skin care because I got a barrage of acne from a K-beauty cream before. Luckily, none of the A’Bloom products irritated my skin.
A’Bloom Review 2019

I was sent 7 things from A’Bloom.
- BHA Blackhead blaster
- Giant Meringue blender
- Baby Meringue blender
- Water-me-long moisturizing watermelon mask
- Avo-cuddle-me nourishing avocado mask
- Spakle-me-bright brightening lemon lime mask
- Ac-me-peach anti blemish peach mask
Everything’s appealing, packaging-wise. However, we all know that it’s not what you came for in this A’Bloom review.
Let’s head on to less trivial stuff in this introductory review and more to what’s truly important.
My Experience
I’m going to divide my A’Bloom review into 3 sections to make things easier for you. Let’s start with.
A’Bloom BHA Blackhead Blaster
I love the A’Bloom BHA Blackhead blaster. Even if it contains oil, I find that after every use, my nose feels less oily. Something with the tea-tree leaf oil or the charcoal really does the job in removing blackheads. However, if instant gratification is what you’re looking for, use a nose strip instead. This one’s gentle though so if you have delicate skin, give it a try.
A’Bloom Blenders
The blenders didn’t impress me. The giant one is way too big and the small ones are pointless. There are other blenders out there that are perfectly molded and can get to every spot of the face which saves one time from having the need to wash multiple blenders. Hard pass on the meringue cuties, sorry!
A’Bloom Masks
Everything is skin-friendly. Even the brightening one. However, I find that the essence is a bit too thick and should only be used in cool environments.
All masks are very hydrating. Since I have dry and sensitive skin, the one that best worked for me was the Water-me-long variant.
My least favorite is Sparkle-me-bright as it didn’t do anything significant in terms of skin lightening. However, please know that they only sent 1 for me to try and it has very good ingredients. Skin whitening takes time.
The only one that I haven’t tried is the Acme-peach variant.
I’m currently not touching anything made for curing acne because I paid a lot of money just to get rid of mine through a long isotretinoin journey.
Final Words
I didn’t share what each product does anymore because you can find out what one’s for through the Althea A’Bloom store.
If you have dry and sensitive skin, do not forget to try the Water-me-long mask. What’s great is that everything from A’Bloom is very affordable!
Each sheet costs only less than 30 PHP!
If you live in the Philippines, the products will arrive in less than a week on your doorstep.
- Packaging: 5/5
- Skin-Friendliness: 4/5
- Affordability: 5/5
- Availability: 5/5
I hope that you enjoyed my A’Bloom review. Please share it on your timeline.

Would u recommend the mask for those who have sensitive and acne-prone skin?

Hmm, for acne-prone skin I think it’s okay. However, for sensitive skin, it’s too fragrant.
