Nivea Strawberry Shine Review 2019

Happy hump day everyone! Since I’m a huge fan of Mean Girls, I have something pink for today. If you’re inclined, keep reading this Nivea Strawberry Shine review.

I have very dry lips coupled with dry skin. Lip balms are of a necessity to me. I can’t live without them.

I got this variant from an impulse purchase when I was lined up on the drug store. I’m aware that I have to deal with my unfinished ones before buying new ones but where’s the fun in that?

Besides, I have to keep my blog updated for you guys.

What lured me into buying it was the 24h melt-in claim in bold and italic on the packaging.

I love how quirky it is and gave a different vibe from the rest of Nivea products which all look absolutely the same.

Pamper your lips with a delicious strawberry aroma and a subtle reddish shine!

The unique formula enriched with shimmery pigments instantly melts into your lips and keeps them moisturized for 24h.

It glides on evenly and easily for a beautiful touch of shiny color and soft kissable lips all day.

Skin compatibility dermatologically approved.

Let’s head on to what really matters in this Nivea Strawberry Shine review.

My Experience

Like any other lip balm, it’s in bullet form which I prefer. I love how it’s tiny and travel-friendly.

The subtlety of the reddish shine is true to its claim and is close to none. If you’re planning to use it as a substitute for your lip tints, just don’t.

Feeling when applied is warm and buttery. I love how nourished and moisturized my lips feel after application.

What’s special about this one is it lasts way longer than other lip balms that I’ve tried. When I say lasts, I mean LASTS. The hydration it gives does diminish after some time but until the very end of its efficacy, your lips will still feel nicely moist.

If your issue is crusty lips, you’re really going to love it.

Sheen can be seen but yet again, don’t expect it to give your lips a pop.

Tastes a bit waxy and sweet, I don’t know why I even included this one but I figured that you have the right to know lol.

All-in-all, I’m a huge fan of the Nivea Lip Care products. I hope that they keep coming with more.

Final Words

Longevity is around up to 8 hours given that you applied generously. Retails at only 102 PHP and can last more than a month’s use, a total steal!
