I’ve never tried anything from this brand. If you want to know what I’m talking about, keep reading this Himalaya Anti-Dandruff Shampoo review.
To be honest, I’ve been ignoring this brand because I haven’t heard of it. I’m also not a fan of organic products and it delivers that vibe. I prefer the ones that have been researched and studied in labs for years.
Himalaya Anti-Dandruff Shampoo Review 2019
by Amanda of Filipinow
I’m not saying that Himalaya products are natural and organic. Please don’t get me wrong. I’m going to reiterate this again. Just based on the name of the brand, it’s giving me organic vibes.
Try Himalaya Anti-Dandruff Soothing and Moisturising Shampoo, enriched with the goodness of Tea Tree and Aloe Vera. Our shampoo fights dandruff and soothes your scalp, giving you clean and healthy hair.
I love tea tree and aloe vera but let’s move on to what’s important in this Himalaya Anti-Dandruff Shampoo review.
Packaging is like of any other anti-dandruff shampoo but has a more premium look to it. I don’t find it repulsive nor fascinating. Suffice to say, it’s mediocre.
Plastic bottle is easy to work with.
Scent is very appealing and is truly enjoyable to use in the shower. It’s strong tea-tree smell gives a relaxing woody shower vibe.
Imagine being in Bali and having a rain shower, yes that’s how I’d best describe the scent lol.
Amanda, why are you so bad at describing scents?
It doesn’t give a cooling effect but I prefer that as I have sensitive skin. I feel that mentholated products sitting on my scalp for a prolonged time give me a burning sensation.
The fragrance won’t linger on your hair.
I also find that if you use it as a standalone product, your hair will still maintain its natural texture, minus the dandruff.
In my case, I have bleached and damaged hair so I always need a conditioner combo for this one.
If you don’t get the urge to wash your hair completely, I recommend for you to use it only on your scalp regularly and not on the strands as it can be very drying.
I think that it’s a very good product and is a skin-friendlier version of popular anti-dandruff shampoos that are easily available in the Philippine market.
However, if you’re not dealing with dandruff, I don’t recommend this one.
This can also be used on your brows if you have dandruff on there too. I find the formula to be gentle and versatile.
Retails at only 140~ PHP for 100ml, a little pricier than other brands but worth every peso!
