GT Brightening C+ Soap Review

I’m currently healing from a broken heart and what better thing to do than to write a GT Brightening C+ Soap review?

If the tone of this review is a little different compared to my past works, don’t be surprised.

To be honest, it’s quite timely because I need something that constitutes to whitening both my skin and my future.

GT Brightening C+ Soap Review

by Amanda of Filipinow

I got this product from an impulse purchase with my mom in a drug store. I was looking for things to try and decided to buy the whole set of GT products for her.

Before you attack me, no, she’s not a guinea pig. She’s also actually looking for something to brighten her face that doesn’t include hydroquinone and glycolic acids.

The very reason as to why I bought this soap is because it came with a set with tinted moisturizers with SPF and etcetera. I’m just going to focus on the soap because it’s the only thing that I’ve tried from the GT Brightening C+ line.

First Impression

I’m quite impressed by the packaging. Color used is standard for whitening products but it was presented in a manner that’s not too comical or cheap.

It reminds me of those skin care products from France which I’m not going to mention because I’m not being paid enough to run this blog.

To be honest, there are times when I feel like I’m giving too much without even getting a wink of gratitude in return. Most of the time, when you give to much, like in a relationship, you’re often vilified and accused of being too overwhelming.

Anyway, let’s get back to the god damn whitening soap!

GT Brightening C+ Soap Ingredients

Let’s head on to what’s truly important in this GT Brightening C+ Soap review.

My Experience

Scent is surprisingly not citrusy. It has a generic antibacterial soap smell which I don’t love nor hate.

Stinging sensations won’t be felt and the lather is very good.

Even if it’s marketed to brighten the skin, I don’t think that it gives instant gratification.

However, if you want to prevent further darkening, I think it’s good.

Contains ingredients that have sun protection factor and it’s perfect for people who are lazy to apply sunblock.

What I like about it is it lists an MFG and Expiry date.

For a month of using it, I didn’t notice any difference.

Dear GT, please don’t think that I’m giving you a bad review just because of my personal issues with a lying man, these are honest observations.

I forgot the retail price but it was around 100+ PHP.

Final Words

I’m sorry but I didn’t find this soap effective when it comes to skin whitening. However, their other products are worth looking into.
