Howdy do? Today, I’m writing this Dermasil Aloe Fresh Lotion review in Starbucks like I’m one of those posers who pretend that they can actually work in peace amidst the coffee grinder noise and the constant name-calling of random patrons.
If this review goes south or a little awry, please know that I’ve tried my best lol.
Dermasil Aloe Fresh Lotion Review
by Amanda of Filipinow
To be honest, I had no idea about the brand Dermasil. It’s one of those products that randomly end up in a BalikBayan box from a relative.
However, I don’t really mind discovering unknown beauty products because I’m a Beauty Blogger after all.
Let’s start with something less trivial.
Dermasil Aloe Moisturizing Lotion for Dry Skin. Get healthy smooth skin that you love to touch every day.
Skin nourishing Aloe and fruit extracts help penetrate and moisturize skin.
Fast absorbing formula leaves skin feeling soft and smooth, not greasy.
If there are errors with how the description was constructed, don’t blame the coffee shop. I just copied exactly everything that’s on the squeezy tube.
Let’s continue with the most important part of this Dermasil Aloe Fresh Lotion review.
The packaging ignited nothing but boredom within me. It’s one of the ugliest lotion packaging that I’ve ever seen in my life.
The fonts, colors, picture used, and just about everything scream basic.
There’s no redeeming factor when it comes to the aesthetics. However, that’s not what you really came for in this review.
Let me spill the tea hunnay.
The lotion is mostly cream-based and it’s not too thick that you’ll feel like you’re applying a Nivea crème from the old blue tin can that we all hate.
Color resembles it though but don’t be afraid.
It’s one of the most hydrating lotions that I’ve tried and the longevity of the moisture that it delivers is similar to what a hand cream will give you.
Apart from that, it’s very skin-friendly as well because I’ve used it on my chub-rubs and it worked like magic in terms of soothing and hydrating.
Shout out to my sisters who have chubby legs!
Going back to something trivial, the scent is very appealing and you won’t be embarrassed to apply it liberally on your skin because it has a very fresh and clean scent that is very relatable to most.
Apart from all of those good things, it doesn’t feel sticky even when used in a tropical country like the Philippines.
I don’t have any bad things to say about it in terms of the quality but I truly dislike the packaging and I hope that they come up with something better.
