PONDS PURE WHITE POLLUTION OUT + PURITY DEEP CLEANSING FACIAL FOAM REVIEW

By Rhea of Filipinow

Growing up, I’d always see my mother with Pond’s products on her stash.

Pond’s has been a household name for some time now. Founded in 1864, this household name continues its promise to deliver results without breaking the bank.

Pond’s products are all over— your local drugstore, beauty store and even most convenience stores offer their products. I’m sure at least one person in your household use skincare products from the brand.

Let’s head onto our review of the Pond’s Pure White Pollution Out + Purity Deep Cleansing Facial Foam with Activated Carbon Charcoal.

First Impression

Facial foams are an easy product to incorporate to your routine. You can use these cleansing foams anytime, anywhere— as long as you have water access.

Personally, I am not a fan of Pond’s since my skin previously developed a breakout from using their products years ago.

For this review, I only purchased two small sachets which I was able to use for a good week and a half.

I like how the packaging is simple and neat.

The small sachet comes with 10 grams of the facial foam. This one retails for only PHP 25.

My Experience

PRODUCT CLAIMS: Extracts out pollutants and impurities, leaving skin so pure, it glows. Purifies skin from inside out.

INGREDIENTS: Glycerin, Water, Lauric Acid, Carbon, Charcoal Powder, Niacinamide, Sodium Benzoate, Myristic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide.

APPLICATION: Use a pea sized amount and lather on the face. A little goes a long way for this one. Massage the product onto the face and neck. Rinse off.

Ponds Facial Foam

Let’s talk about how Pond’s Pure White Pollution Out + Purity Deep Cleansing Facial Foam with Activated Carbon Charcoal worked for my skin.

First, it instantly softens the skin after wash. The smell is subtle and fresh. It also easily foams up when applied.

I would say it’s very effective in removing visible dirt and impurities from the skin.

Activated carbon charcoal is a powerful cleanser since it’s able to take out dead skin cells and impurities from the skin. It’s also able to soothe the skin.

Leaves your face feeling squeaky clean after every use. Very refreshing for the skin.

I love how it’s able to brighten the face after rinsing off the product.

What I did not like about this facial foam from Pond’s is that it’s not suitable for sensitive skin.

In my experience, the product is drying. I’d recommend using this 2 to 3 times a week since it strips off moisture from the face.

Also, don’t forget to do a patch test before applying this to the face.

Final Words

If you want to try a cheap facial foam that is readily available, go for this product. If you have sensitive skin, I’d say you could pass up this one.
