Like any other single woman who’s close to being 30 and doomed to be a spinster, I believe in destiny. I had a horrific tan line that I wanted to get rid of quickly and destiny ran its course by urging the Vitapack team to send me an email for a product review. Keep reading this Vitapack Whitening Soap and Lotion review to know if my destiny was truly fulfilled.
Wow, Amanda, that first paragraph was extra neurotic!
I got my tan line from a stupid decision of wearing an off-shoulder dress to the cemetery.
Before you start lecturing me about not wearing a sunblock, hear me out first.
I sleep at around 6 in the morning and we had to leave by 10.
Not enough sleep + mother’s nagging is a justifiable combo as to why I wasn’t able to slather SPF on my body. Added to that is the fact that I ingeniously wore an off-shoulder dress because it was so hot, leaving my chest exposed to the abuse of the sun.
Vitapack Whitening Soap and Lotion Review by Amanda of Filipinow
Now that you know the story behind my demise, let’s get to the products.
Even if this is a sponsored post, Vitapack didn’t ask me to write a GOOD review like other seedy companies.
They just asked me if I wanted to try their products out and sent me the goods. They didn’t even have a deadline because they’re smart enough to know that skin whitening products don’t magically work overnight.
Ugh, I love them!
The packaging is chic and I love the color used on the lotion tube and soapbox. It’s not something conventional as it’s of rose gold leaning to a faint plum color.
Both products were tightly sealed and the lotion looks good on top of the vanity.
I’m going to write the reviews separately starting with the…
Vitapack Whitening Soap Review
Soap is of round shape and is reminiscent of an albatross toilet deodorizer. It’s something out of the ordinary and will be easy to distinguish if you use a lot of different soaps simultaneously like I do.
Scent is floral and a little overwhelming but if you’re a fan of floral scents in the shower, you’re going to love it.
Lather’s AMAZING which makes the soap very enjoyable to use.
My only issue is it’s not skin-friendly (I have dry and sensitive skin) and makes my neck and groin area experience burning sensations.
Smoothening, whitening, exfoliating, anti-aging, antibacterial, brightening, moisturizing, and clarifying.
Vitapack whitening soap is the first 8-in-1 whitening soap with eight skincare benefits in just one bar. Our unique combination of Clairju (Japan), VB9 Plus (Korea), Glutathione (Japan) and Argan oil results in intensive whitening and brightening, and renews and rejuvenates skin for a deeply beautiful glow.
They didn’t claim that their whitening soap is hypoallergenic so I won’t give it a low score based on my personal experience. All of us don’t share the same skin type (Know your Skin Type for FREE).
The soap and lotion worked well together in lightening the area of my chest and that’s what it’s supposed to do.
A bit pricier at 269 PHP for 90g than other skin whitening soaps but is well worth your money if you want instant gratification.
Let’s continue this Vitapack Whitening Soap and Lotion review with something I’ll definitely use again.
Vitapack Whitening Lotion Review
The squeezy tube gives an elegant vibe as the peculiar color was contrasted with a metal cap.
I also love how it’s travel-friendly yet the quality wasn’t compromised because of how sturdy the tube is.
Scent is more appealing than its soap partner as it’s not as overpowering.
If you’ve had a whiff of those Downy Parfum laundry conditioners, it’s how the soap smells like.
Lightens your skin and brings out your youthful radiance using a unique blend of Clairju, VB9 Plus, Ameliax, and Argan Oil. Vitapack lotion whitens, brightens, hydrates, and rejuvenates your skin, while protecting it from the aging effects of the sun.
Powerful yet gentle formulation to erase blemishes, remove wrinkles, repair elasticity, boost cellular stimulation to leave you with deeply beautiful skin.
True to its claim, it is indeed gentle on the skin. I honestly only read the description today after using it for 13 days and my skin was able to determine that the formula with this one is less harsh than the soap.
I normally dislike whitening lotions because they can be very drying and make my skin itchy over time but this one didn’t give me that feeling.
Initially, I was worried about trying it out because I’m currently under isotretinoin. I need to get every moisture I can get and practically be a human humectant as the medication sucks the life out of me. This lotion truly helped in alleviating the dryness.
Easily absorbed by the skin and won’t leave you with a sticky and gross feeling.
I just wish they could’ve included the SPF amount that this lotion provides on the tube.
You may not like how it’s priced at 525 PHP for 90ml but you’re going to love its almost instant skin whitening effect.
You also have to understand that their office is located in Salcedo Village, Makati and the rent there isn’t cheap (just kidding Vitapack, love yah!)
I write reviews like a novella and I know you’re irked because it’s not what you came for from this Vitapack Whitening Soap and Lotion Review so I’m going to show you the before and after 13 days photo below.
Vitapack Whitening Soap and Lotion Before and After 13 Days
Clearly, from the no filter and no DUGAS photo above, my tan line / sunburn was eliminated in just 13 days.
