Missha Perfect Lip and Eye Makeup Remover Review by Amanda of Filipinow
This is the first product that I’ve tried from Missha and my hopes were pretty high because it’s quite popular in the Filipino beauty community.
The price point of their products is relatively friendlier than other Korean brands available in Althea Korea and most of their products have good ratings.
This makeup remover is a bit old school for my liking as it’s still using oil… plus alcohol.
Frankly, I was very afraid to use it because I’m currently under istotretinoin and my dermatologist told me to stay away from products with any kind of oil.
Added to that, my skin is sensitive and it doesn’t play well with alcohol and fragrance.
Let’s move on to what this product promises.
Effective waterproof makeup remover
Micro intense oil formula melts away waterproof products quickly and thoroughly
Soothes eye and lip areas
Now let’s head on to the most important part of this Missha Perfect Lip and Eye Makeup Remover review…
The packaging is very appealing. I love the sleek and modern look combined with the gradient effect of the liquid’s colors due to the separation of the blue oil from the clear water with alcohol.
Bottle is spherical, plastic yet sturdy, and contains a generous 155 ml amount of makeup remover.
Scent is nice and reminiscent of a fresh shower fragrance.
Enough of the trivial stuff… let me share with you the pros and cons.
Quickly removes makeup
Very competitive price
Generous amount of product
Stings on sensitive skin especially under the eyes
Very oily and needs more than double cleansing to get rid of the residue
Not very friendly to acne-prone skin
Missha Perfect Lip and Eye Makeup Remover Review Final Words
This makeup remover didn’t promise to be hypoallergenic. It also didn’t claim to be suitable for acne-prone skin. What it did promise is to remove waterproof and any type of makeup quickly and thoroughly, which it delivered.
If you have non-problematic skin and in need of a powerful makeup remover, I highly recommend it.
