I am so excited because quite frankly, even if I really like the AVON Care Gentle Moisture Lotion, I’m starting to get bored with it. Today, I’m finally free and ready to explore new body lotions, hence, I have this Belo Essentials Whitening Lotion review.
The very reason as to why I don’t really experiment much with lotions is because of my dry and sensitive skin. Whenever I use the wrong product, my legs itch and become too unbearable to not scratch; leaving me with a new bundle of bente-singko coins. (dark spots and scars)
Swerte yan Amanda, polka-dots!

Belo Essentials Whitening Lotion Review by Amanda of Filipinow
Like any other Belo Essentials product, the packaging is fun.
I’m not a huge fan of it but I don’t hate it either. I love the shape of the bottle though. It doesn’t look like your standard body lotion product.
It reminds me a lot of Hana shampoo products. The shampoo that I really dislike but we’re not getting into that.
Bottle is sleek yet sturdy and the cap is very easy to work with.
Let’s head on to less trivial stuff…
The lotion is not too liquidy nor creamy. Texture is very similar with a regular hair conditioner.
It’s not quickly absorbed by the body so expect to work more.
Skin will feel a little tacky post application but bearable.
Scent is not something I’m a fan of as it’s a bit too floral for my liking. (I prefer clean scents)
I’ve noticed that even if it’s a whitening lotion, it’s not as harsh as other products that I’ve tried which make my skin VERY itchy overtime.
However, compared to other body lotions without skin whitening effects, this is still way behind in terms of being non-irritant.
May kati factor siya pero tolerable naman. Don’t expect gentle care because after all, it’s still a skin whitening product.
In terms of longevity, I find my skin supple for around 3 hours.
Your skin won’t feel hydrated either so please don’t expect too much.
A nourishing lotion that lavishes skin with long-lasting moisture as it visibly whitens in just 7 days!
Skin vitamins and Pentavitin moisturize and nourish skin, while Arbutin ensures maximum whitening power.
Expertly formulated, hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested. Use twice a day with Belo Essentials Whitening Bar for best results.
Belo Essentials Whitening Lotion Review Final Words
Even if it’s infused with shea butter and Vitamin E, I still don’t find it moisturizing. Please keep in mind that I have dry skin so I have higher standards when it comes to hydration.
However, it contains niacinamide, arbutin, and citric acid which are all very good in terms of skin whitening.
If you’re planning to utilize it as a whitening product, enjoy! However, if a nourishing body lotion is what you need, this isn’t it.
Retails at only 200~ PHP for 200ml; a fair deal.
Skin Whitening: 4/5
